Author description

Rob Hewitt grew up in the Hawke's Bay with a Maori mother and Pakeha father. After attending Te Aute College, he joined the navy, training as a diver. After Hewitt was found alive, the head of the police search and rescue team said, 'remember the name Rob Hewitt - you'll not see his like again'.
